Who Am I

Hi,

My name is Maish Saidel-Keesing and welcome to my small piece of real estate on the web.

I am currently holding a position as a Cloud and DevOps architect for CyberArk in Israel and have been working in IT for the past 15 years and with a stronger focus on cloud and automation for the past 5.

I have extensive experience with Cloud technologies,  DevOps and Agile practices and implementations, containers, Kubernetes, virtualization and, a long history with Microsoft Active Directory Infrastructure, server hardware from all the major vendors and and I also like to play around a lot with PowerShell.

Automation is the way things should be done - so I am constantly looking for ways to make my life easier wherever I can.

My latest project is The Cloudwalkabout - a book about my journey through the world of AWS.

I am the married to the most wonderful woman, the love of my life, have 3 amazing daughters and am very happy with my life.

I have presented at multiple conferences, including VMworld, VMware VMUG's OpenStack Summits, DevOpsDays on a various number of topics.

I was awarded the vExpert award from VMware during 2010-2016.

I have co-authored the VMware vSphere Design book the OpenStack Architecture Design Guide
and participated in the Technical Review of a number of publications.
